Lisa Klein gave her reactions after sprinting to 10th place yesterday in Stage 1 of the Boels Ladies Tour, on a stage won by Lorena Wiebes (Parkhotel) ahead of Kirsten Wild (WNT) and Letizia Paternoster (TFS):

“It was a really hectic stage with some cross wind action. So, we needed to keep the focus all the time to be in the echelon and to be in general in a good position on the narrow and twisty roads.”

“The team did such a great job and I could save my power for the final. I was confident during the stage but honestly I lost it in the last lap. I made myself too much pressure to disappoint my teammates who had raced so good.”
