After starting the stage one rider down with Ricarda Bauernfeind unable to start due to illness, CANYON//SRAM Racing had a tough third stage of Lotto Thüringen Ladies Tour.

Antonia Niedermaier suffered from a heavy crash in the final kilometres of the stage and was forced to abandon. Antonia had just returned to racing following knee surgery in February and was a strong part of the team’s third place in the TTT first stage. She was later cleared of any major injuries and will take some time to recover fully.

Neve Bradbury maintained her lead in the youth classification, finishing in the main peloton after the stage was won in a sprint by Barbara Guarischi (SDW). Neve holds sixth in the GC and is at +46 seconds behind leader Mischa Bredewold.
