113km of Durango-Durango Emakumeen Saria

The third of our three one-day races in Spain this week will be the 113km Durango-Durango Emakumeen Saria on Sunday 26 July. Our roster will be Alena Amialiusik, Tanja Erath, Ella Harris, Hannah Ludwig, Lisa Klein and Omer Shapira.

Tanja takes confidence from her recent Zwift racing and training achievements into the season restart.

“Form wise I feel quite good about the last four months. A daily routine and a long build up period really helped me to put in some good work. I feel I was missing that a bit, when I turned pro all of the sudden and started racing right away on a completely new level. For sure I improved throughout the last two years, but a proper build up never really matched with late racing in China and early racing in Australia. So I am super happy with my improvements on paper and I’m looking forward to put it on the road.”

“Australia, even Belgium in late February, feels like another season. The sport as we knew it and life in general changed so much in those few month, making everything beforehand feel like a really long time ago. But I still remember the good feeling, especially racing in Belgium, gave me and that makes me really look forward to the start of the season.”

“I would love to use the momentum and confidence the last few month, racing on Zwift and my improvements gave me. Irrespective of my role during the first Spanish races, I want to use this confidence to make a difference for my team and my teammates,” said Tanja.
